Reading & Reflection A Different Kind of Fast

Beginning Tuesday, February 17th, Emmaus House will offer a Reading & Reflection Group for Lent with the book A Different Kind of Fast by Christine Valters Paintner. Offering contemplative practices of lectio divina, visio divina, and Ignatian Imaginative Prayer among others, readers journey through Lent with a different fast each week. Fasting from rushing, being strong, holding it all together, or seeking certainty, we can become more aware of our truer, deeper hungers.
