If you’ve endured a loss, difficult life experience or grief, the temptation can be to simply “get through” the holidays. In the mountain of daily losses and changes that come with grief, a time marked with sacred family traditions can feel like too much.
“Emmaunuel” means God with us. Yet through these darkest of times, it can be difficult to feel God’s presence. Perhaps that is why we so fervently pray, “Come, Lord Jesus” this time of year.
Join Emmaus House for this retreat for some time in community as well as silence as we Watch for Light during this darkest time of year.
