The Suscipe and the Cross
The Suscipe, Ignatius of Loyola's prayer of surrender, is prayed near the end of the Spiritual Exercises. It is a profoundly difficult prayer to express:

Take Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory,
my understanding, and my entire will,
all that I have and possess.
Thou hast given all to me.
To Thee, O lord, I return it.
All is Thine, dispose of it wholly according to Thy will.
Give me Thy love and thy grace,
for this is sufficient for me.

During our Lenten season, a time when we offer up sacrifices, we will take time to reflect on how we might make a complete gift of ourselves as Jesus did on the cross and what we might receive in this surrender.
Date: Saturday, April 5th
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
