Living the Mystery of the Eucharist

In 2023, Pope Francis spoke about the Eucharist saying, "If you are the same at the end of Mass as you were at the beginning, something is wrong…Jesus comes and gives us the strength to love like he loved...gives us the courage to encounter others, to go out of ourselves and to open ourselves to others with love."

"In the Eucharist, we encounter the one who gave everything for us, who sacrificed himself in order to give us life, who loved us to the end," he said. "We become credible witnesses to the joy and transforming beauty of the Gospel only when we recognize that the love we celebrate in this sacrament cannot be kept to ourselves but demands to be shared with all."

What does this mean to each of us in our daily lives? In our fragmented lives, busy schedules, and divided communities, how is Jesus calling me personally, through the Mystery of the Eucharist, to be transformed with love?
